3) Q- Some of the breeders I have found on the Internet accept only a money order or Western Union etc. as payment. Is this a safe way to pay for a pup?
A-No! Western Union and all money order types have been the most widely used funding means for scams, fraud and theft. If a person selling a pup will only take Western Union or a money order as payment, move on to another breeder. Find one that will also accept credit cards, all merchants who have the ability to take payments via a credit card must answer for any item not received by a purchaser to the credit issuing bank. Do not send cash, money orders or Western Union in or out of the US for a pup to countries including but not limited to Africa, Nigeria, Brazil, or to a anyone selling a puppy who emails often but is unwilling or cannot not talk with you, etc.  We have never heard of a person getting a pup by sending a money order to pay for a pup out of the US., but people do and get taken advantage of daily.
Everyday someone gets robbed by sending Western union, Money Gram etc. for a pup.  We often get calls from someone who has already been scammed or is considering buying a pup from a someone accepting only one form of payment specifically "money orders".
Please use a credit card or Paypal if at all possible, if you don't it is a recipe for disapointment.
If a breeder offers to take credit cards they are a legitimate business.
Credit card companies offer fraud protection which allow you to reverse the charge (charge back) if you don't get a pup or any purchased item with a card, call the phone number on the back of your card to get more information.
Here at www.Yourpup.com we take all major credit cards/debit along with Western Union, Paypal, bank wires. We do not accept personal checks.

4) Q- I'm just curious why there is a difference in price with your puppies. Are some pure breeds and others mixes?
A- The price of a pup can have many variables including, breed type, estimated adult size they may become, being male or female, color, coat.
______________________________________________________________________________________________
5) Q- Can I change the pups name from the name you had them listed with?
A- Yes, you can name your new pup what ever you want. On your new pups registration papers, the area on the application where you name your new pup will be left blank.
______________________________________________________________________________________________
6) Q- When I have my pup shipped to me at my airport, where do I pick them up at?
A- Call the ticket counter of the airlines in your city which your pup is flying in on and ask them where you would go to wait for your new pups arrival. We often ship with American Airlines (#1-800-227-4622) we ship using PPS service except for Canada flights which will be cargo.
______________________________________________________________________________________________
7) Q- Do pups come with a health guarantee or contract.
A-Yes all pups have  a 1 year congenital defect guarantee, below please find the contract/guarantee  you will receive with your pup. All pups being flown to their new family will have a current health certificate less than 10 days old issued by a licensed Veterinarian.
______________________________________________________________________________________________
8) Q- I only want a puppy for a pet to love. I don't want to breed, show, or even care if I get registration papers with my new puppy, does this make them cost any less? How can I get a pup I want for less money?
A- No it does not lower the price.  All purebred pups will be registered and do come with their paperwork. We sell all our pups as pets,  all pricing is done assuming they will be going to "pet homes" only. We will not deal on a pups listed price when there are lower priced pups listed for sale on our pages.
Registration papers are inexpensive, so with or without papers there is no big cost savings to us.
______________________________________________________________________________________________
9) Q- How do you estimate a pups future weight?
A- To get a  estimate of the future adult weight of a pup, take a 8 to 9 week current weight and multiply by three,  or a 12 to 13 week old pups weight and multiply two, to get a ballpark estimate.  Example: ( 2 lbs @ 8 weeks =6 lbs grown), (2 lbs @ 12 weeks=4 lbs grown )
______________________________________________________________________________________________
10) Q- Does the $300 deposit I place on a pup go towards the final cost of that pup and do you have a payment plan?
A- Yes, the final balance due will have the $300 deposit deducted from the total. We do not have a payment plan, that is why we take credit cards. You can make monthly payments to the credit card company.
Payment Options link click here:   http://www.yourpup.com/PaymentinformationYorkies.html
______________________________________________________________________________________________
11) Q- Why are males cheaper than females?
A- The demand for females is greater, also males have to be fixed at 4.5 to 6 months of age to make good house pets which is a additional cost to you, females don't need this elective surgery to retain their house training manners.
______________________________________________________________________________________________
12) Q- Can I change dog foods to something I like to feed when I receive my pup? All pups are on a" Iams" brand dry puppy food.
A- Yes. Please feel free to feed what ever you are used to feeding. Smaller pups ( under 2.5 lbs. or 6 months old ) may require special feedings including can puppy food and/or chicken and gravy baby food.

13) Q- What is the different between ACA and AKC?
A- ACA & AKC are like Ford & Chevy, they do the same thing, but are different companies. Once a pup is registered with ACA they cannot be transferred to AKC. ACA & AKC both register pure breed dogs, that's about it.

14) Q- Is it true that teacup size pups have more health problems? Would you suggest getting a regular or bigger sized puppy instead?
A- There is no difference in health with big or small pups once they are over 6 months old or 2.5 lbs., the environment in which they are raised, small children, slammed in doors, accidentally kicked, being dropped as well as allowed to be too active can be detrimental to smaller pups. Its the quality of life a tiny receives that affects its life span, nothing more.
Please see our health page.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________
15) Q- My vet said I don't need to feed any special foods to my teacup/tiny sized pup I just got. I stopped the syringe feeding that you recommended and 3 days later my pup was in the emergency vet hospital and is very sick. Why would the vet tell me this?
A- Its the Veterinarians that have the hands on experience with tinies that will actually tell you what is the correct way to raise a tiny. That being, feed your new little pup almost whatever he will eat such as, broken up cooked chicken breast meat, can chicken meat, cottage cheese, roast beef, and human baby meats food (chicken and gravy only) just about anything that keeps their belly full till they are over 2.5 lbs or 6 months of age, which ever comes first. Too much activity is often a problem for small pups please see our healthpage link below.
Teacup size pups should be offered a glucose supplement for added calories, we use  Nutri Cal, Nutri Stat, Enercal,  pancake or Karo syrup.
Once your pup gets over 2.5 lbs or 6 months of age you are the boss, but right now being so small they are in charge of what they will eat. After the age and weight milestones are met then your pup can eat only what you want to feed them. Low blood sugar & picky eating are only juvenile problems cured with age and or weight.
______________________________________________________________________________________________
16) Q- How would I know what puppy is available?
A- Our web sites are updated  each time a pup sells which will say "Sold" or "Going to" on the sold pup. A pups listing will say "On hold" if we are waiting for another form of payment other than a credit card such as Western Union or a bank wire.
______________________________________________________________________________________________
17) Q- If I put a $300 deposit on a pup and have to cancel for any reason, do I get my $300 deposit back?
A- No, the $300 deposit is forfeited.  We want everyone who is considering a new pup to be 100% sure they can have or really want a new pup before they pay a $300 deposit. There is much involved on our end, such as that pups web page and website listings being cleared & updated, the flight being booked, pet carriers being personalized for that pup, vet cost and time involved preparing the paperwork necessary to get them ready to ship.

18) Q- At times I see some of your pups have free shipping. How do I know if the one I want has free shipping? How much would shipping be?
A- If shipping is offered free on a pup it will say that on the pups picture.

19) Q- Can I come to your home and buy a pup? Do I need a appointment?
A- Yes, we are available most days from 9 AM. to 5 PM. Please call ahead to schedule an appointment.
We welcome your phone calls at anytime. Call # 903-961-2818. We are closed on Sundays for pick up, but your calls are welcome.
________________________________________________________________________________________________
20) What type of food are the puppies accustomed to eating?
A-We use a IAMS and Eukanuba brand dry puppy food in a small breed size. Very small pups (teacup size) can be offered broken up cooked chicken meat, cooked hamburger meat, cottage cheese, and human baby food (Gerbers chicken and gravy), most important is to keep their belly full until they are over 2.5 lbs or 6 months of age, which ever comes first.
Once your pup gets over 2.5 lbs or 6 months of age you are the boss, being so small they are in charge of what they will eat. After the age and weight milestones are met then your pup can eat only what you want to feed them.
